A beautiful mountain road, going from Flims to Vals, in the heart of Switzerland.
Final destination: Therme Vals by Peter Zumthor where I spent 1 day and 1/2 in pure relaxation. I really recommend it, and on your way there make sure you stop once in a while for a snack and some pictures...

I decided to try out the popular HDR technique to some old photos I had sitting in the archive. Actually at the time I decided to do some exposure bracketing on these ones so they were perfect to start with. I used Photomatix and Photoshop to tweak. I love the light and colors that comes out of HDR!

A moment in the medina of Fès brings you back to medieval times. People walking in every direction, people selling, people buying, donkey drivers yelling "Balek!" in an attempt to go on their journey without having to stop. Different but beautiful.

In our way from Midelt to Fès, a few kilometers after the abandoned mines of Aouli, we found this little village that I don't recall the name. As many places in Morocco this one looked like it had been frozen in time. It's a strange feeling to arrive in a comfortable jeep, holding a camera and look at these kids, who respond with suspicious but curious looks. All they asked for was candies. In exchange for it I got a picture.

Resting at the doors of the Sahara desert, near Merzouga, there were two iron chairs. I can't really tell if they were put there for the sake of thirsty photographers like me or to simply sit down a bit and read a book under 50ºC.

Just came back from Pas de la Casa, Andorra, a full week of ski!
Took some photos but not as much as I'd like. Lithium batteries really don't like negative temperatures, I had to buy a backup one. It's definitely a place to visit once more.

Improvised 58mm adapter

I'm still thinking whether to buy or not a lensmate adapter for my G5, mainly because of custom taxes which I'll probably have to pay.. in the meantime, with some imagination I managed to improvise an adapter for holding 58mm filters/converters using a card tube and some tape. Works pretty well!
